In the early 1970s, Rex and his brother Kevin were believed to be the last orphans to be transported to Australia under the Child Migrants Programme, which began in the 1930s and was thought to have ended by 1967. With a promise of a better life and a brighter future, the two innocent boys were sent to the other side of the globe, unaware of what this cruel world held in store for them. But they would soon find out...
