Laura, an aristocratic beauty from Connecticut, comes to stay for a magazine internship, and dreams of becoming a writer. Her hopelessly romantic roommate, Dolly, is there to attend secretarial school, and is looking to be swept off her feet. Vivian, a brash British bombshell with a disregard for the hotel's rules, rounds out the trio of friends.
