Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer races to the scene when a gunman goes on a shooting spree on a San Francisco ferry. Along with the dead she finds that Claire Washburn, a member of her Women’s Murder Club, has been seriously injured and vows to find the perpetrator as well as their connection to a spate of kidnappings.
