This is a story about relationships, husbands, wives and lovers, and the impact of life’s vagaries. It takes place in the spring of 2017, but its story is generational and its span international as it moves between Boston and Ireland, London and Pakistan. It is set against the turmoil of Trump’s America and Europe’s Brexit and the edginess of the constant threat of international terrorism.
The lives of two successful businessmen, an American, Anthony Castelletto, and an Irishman, Jack Sommers, become derailed in dramatic and unforeseen circumstances which has powerful consequences for them and their families.
In following the story to its dramatic conclusion, we are brought through life’s sometimes erratic and unpredictable twists. Is it chance and random happenings that shape our lives, or is it fate and destiny that makes us what we are?
